The lyrics describe remnants of memories of my time spent with my mother in Japan. In Japanese, the word 青Ao (blue) can be used to describe blue or green. Green was her favourite colour and that idea remains in my memories.

She would pick me up from Kindergarten in her ママチャリMamachari (mum bicycle) and ride up the hill on our way home. These are fond memories of our time together and my recollection of what her personality appeared to be in my eyes.
